His beat is the gap between a brand's name and the address you actually land on: a list page that hands out thirty-odd mirrors, search results where a name with one letter missing sits next to the real list, and the confusion that follows when last month's link stops opening.

What he checks

Addresses. He opens the brand's list, follows its rows and notes which name patterns lead to the lobby, so the advice on the home page stays current.
Look-alikes. He compares the names that turn up in search with the list, letter by letter, and records what each one opens on.
Money pages. He reads public complaints about stuck payouts to sort them into the patterns on the withdrawal problem page, and rechecks the bonus page against the welcome pack's written terms whenever they change.

How he writes

Short answers first, then the detail for people who need it. Nothing that cannot be checked from a phone in a minute goes on a page, and no page he writes leaves room for a reader's mobile number, password or SMS code.
